Learn how to make West African Meat pie (Ghana/Nigerian). A buttery crust stuffed with ground meat and mixed vegetables and seasoned with Ghanaian spices! We can give you. vegan/vegetarian friendly ingredients to substitute.
What you will be eating/cooking
1.Stuffed plantain. Roasted plantain stuffed with vegetables bell peppers, onions and chopped shrimps seasoned with a spice blend of your choice.
2. West African Meat pie (Ghana/Nigerian). A buttery crust stuffed with ground meat and mixed vegetables and seasoned with Ghanaian spices! We can give you. vegan/vegetarian friendly ingredients to substitute.
3. Spinach stew with bell peppers known as Kontomire in Ghana, Efo in Nigeria. Spinach sautéed along with bell peppers and flavored with Ghanaian spices.
4. Dessert: Finish the night off with a yummy sweet fried dough. In Ghana called Bofrot and Nigeria puff puff.
