DESCRIPTION:This black history month we want to teach your children about black history through cooking. We will be teaching them about the history of soul food. They would learn about the origins of foods such as Mac and Cheese\, Collard Greens\, Fried Chicken\, and Cornbread. We would recommend certain documentaries to watch and books to look into before they come to the cooking class. Cooking class would be hands-on with instructions from Chef Gabi who has great knowledge about food and also African and African American Food Ways. She also works with the Food Network.
